Keio University Department of Literature Archive - The Archives of Kanetaro Nomura

Keio University Art Center
Finished
Keio University professor of economics, Kanetaro Nomura(1896-1960) actively collected historical documents throughout the pre-war and post-war periods. Based upon these documents a series of volumes were published which have become classics in Japanese economic history, but the actual archive itself was also not to remain private but to be made available towards the progress of education, resulting in them being included in a collection of over 600,000 documents held in the Keio University Department of Literature Archive. This exhibition presents a select range of 15 examples from this collection.
