Herbie Yamaguchi

The photographer Herbie Yamaguchi won many fans with his portraits of musicians and snapshots of people in the streets. This exhibition features Yamaguchi’s “London” series, a major early work created around the time he met the playwright Shuji Terayama. Private photos of Terayama and his theater troupe and portraits from around the same period are on display.
