Artists

Kazuki Umezawa
Kazuki Umezawa is a young artist who creates a bricolage of web scattered images and data, reworking by hand upon color prints where characters, photos, texts and icons, all combine to form complex, decorative and vivid scenes which reflect the digital and analogue of the contemporary world. Since he started his career as an artist, Umezawa has exhibited widely, energetically participated in art fairs and group exhibitions, while also expanding his activities globally to assist in art direction and production, through which he has gained much attention. This exhibition will provide an overview of his recent work, including work which has yet to be debuted in Tokyo.
