Yokono’s work has displayed parallel influences from American pop and Japanese design from the start of his career, and in recent years the importance of these two elements has steadily increased. The prints featured here attest to this development as their motifs and designs bring out and harmonize with other features to take Yokono’s art to a fierce new level.
