Works investigating the idea of reciprocity.

Art critic Noriaki Kitazawa states, “Like redistribution or markets, ‘reciprocity’ is one system of economic exchange. While probably closer to a kind of courtesy than an economic activity, art taking an interest in the concept could reveal new economic realities. As a behavior that is rooted in capitalism but nonetheless opening up new economic possibilities outside of the market system, reciprocity is one of the most important issues for modern art to examine.”
