The monthly picture book publication “Kodomo no Tomo” (Children’s Friend) has produced long-selling masterpieces including “Guri and Gura,” “The Big Radish,” and “Jiputa and the Fire Engine.” This exhibition presents 43 titles with 320 original drawing from the Miyagi Museum of Art’s collection of 10,000 picture books, with a focus on the early publications of “Kodomo no Tomo.”
