Ukiyoe is famous for portraying beautiful women, but has its share of attractive male subjects, too. These works by ukiyoe masters including Hokusai Katsuragi, Shunshou Katsukawa, and Kunisada Utagawa explore changing ideals of masculine beauty and offer new ways of looking at the aesthetic sense of people in the Edo era.
