Tokyo Arts Gallery presents the work of photographer Tadao Matsuda in celebration of 10 years since the debut of celebrity talent Akina Manami. This series of photographs captures through the lens the long career of this model and the continuous scrutiny of Matsuda in an ever expanding moment of drama. This exhibition features a collection of minimal monochrome photographs which have come to establish a particular style and expression of Manami through Matsuda’s unique sensibility and technique.
