Katsuya Kamo is a hair designer at the forefront of the international fashion scene, working on fashion shows for Chanel, Fendi, Junya Watanabe, Comme des Garcons and Undercover, as well as fashion shoots for Vogue Paris, Vogue Italia, Dazed&Confused and Wallpaper and the campaign visuals for Fendi, Chanel, Kenzo. This exhibition is a large scale production which reconstructs his one-off masterpieces presented in fashion shows and photo shoots across the world, with 100 headpieces presented alongside various garments which they have adorned. These are accompanied by the reconstruction of Kamo’s studio, with a polaroid book documenting his creative process of production, as well as various moving image documentation of fashion shows.
