Mayuko Uno
Mayuko Uno was born in Hokkaido, has lived in Nagoya and Osaka, and now resides in Okinawa. While decidedly not unhappy now, she feels that all of this moving has created a sense of both physical distance and detachment from her emotions, resulting in feelings of doubt, uncertainty, and loneliness. In the unique light of Okinawa, she has been reexamining her lifestyle. These works are the product of her introspection.
