With rhythmical compositions of straight lines and circles, the “World Tree” grows within delicate metal foil crevices as a giant apple tree— familiar, fabled, and symbolic. Another exhibition of Ichikawa’s work is being held simultaneously at Spiral Gallery in Aoyama.
