This exhibition will introduce visitors to the works of interior designer and architect Pierre Chareau (1883-1950), renowned for his singular architectural and furniture designs - including most notably the Maison de Verre (House of Glass) he designed during the early years of the modern architecture movement. Here, with the support of the Centre Pompidou, over 60 examples of his lighting, interior furnishings, macquettes and designs are featured alongside photographs and documentary materials revealing the genius of Chareau across the spaces of everyday living.
