Across her long career as actress and model Yumi Sugimoto has continued to captivate audiences with her look, a look which photographer Tadao Matsuda has constantly distilled from her teenage years. Here the two join in collaboration to capture those expressions not exposed in magazines and on TV, offering up a world of delicate dreamlike light in a collection of monochrome photographs.
