The words of Taosa Tokura add flair to Satoshi Goto’s paintings of landscapes around the world.
Townscapes reflected in calm waters. Scenes outside of windows blotted with cold rain. Blurry images of people in rippled puddles— From Cambodia to Istanbul to London, Paris, New York, Kyoto, and Singapore, Goto illustrates scenery suspended in water, onto which Tokura has projected short scenes that seem to come from novels or films.
