Hikaru Miyakawa examines our relation to the flesh in a series of works which highlight our ancient heritage and our potential for destruction, including razor cuts upon the skin in the form of images from the Altamira caves, nail art images from historic cave paintings of hunting and installations of tattoos, demanding experience in the flesh of the slicing of skin, the hunting of animals and the annihilation of war.
