Artists

Tatsumi Orimoto
Tatsumi Orimoto has a history of featuring animals such as cows, pigs, chickens, donkeys, alpacas, and owls in his performances. Driven to create as a basis for freer ideas, he believes animals as well as humans should have access to art. This project started with Orimoto’s earnest desire to carry an adorable piglet around on his back— he found his animal at farm in Ibaraki Prefecture in 2012. A record of his adventures in teaching the kicking, pooping, peeing pig to ride on his back is on display.
