Many Japanese-Brazilian artists were working creatively in the faraway country of Brazil in the years before and after the Second World War. This exhibition introduces the work of artists inspired by this land of sunlight through the Ricardo Takeshi Akagawa Collection in the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art and the work of Oscar Oiwa in Japanese collections.
