Artists

Nobuhiro Ishihara
Nobuhiro Ishihara proposes the “Deer Man” as a mediator between contemporary civilization and nature, primitive instincts and events of the past. Having in participated in a variety of residence programs across Australia, Korea, Greece and Brazil, Ishihara has come to evolve and adapt the deer man to each context, drawing on the stories and materials of a particular place to reconstruct this mythological figure and here in this exhibition reveals to us new layers of reality.
