Takako Nakayama, Fernando Saiki
Both Takako Nakayama and Fernando Saiki focus their practices upon printmaking processes. In Nakayama’s works, by successively altering the copperplates, a narrative of the process is created whereby new images continuously derive from the prior ones. Saiki’s works deals with replication and variation, by printing an image repeatedly to recombine it into a larger image or presenting the same design but changing its colors.
