Set within the surfaces of Aya Shindo’s work emerges a strange sense of the dream, a fantasy work in which appealing cuteness and keen sharpness intermix together. Here she presents a series of oil and water color works based on the theme of “Black and Beige”, inspired by scenes of dreams and the night, imbued in the color and visions which come to us just before we fall asleep.
