Artists

Roger Mello
Known as the first South American to win the Hans Christian Andersen Awards, Roger Mello has continued to incorporate the nature, festivals and social issues of Brazil into his work, creating brilliantly vivid picture books. These books are yet to be translated into Japanese but here audiences can appreciate the charm of his drawings through a collection of original illustrations, alive with the rhythm and color of Brazil.
