Haruna Morohoshi
Morohoshi has created animation for these four years but this solo show will be her first showing an installation in the gallery space and in three serial exhibitions curated by Emma Ota. In this first exhibition she is showing an installation based on the experience of her early days at school as a Deaf child. Behind her work, we will see subjects of Deaf culture, language, our human future and issues of Postmodernism emerging. Some of them are related to binarism, such as Deaf and Hearing and some connect more general and universal.
