The capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, is host every two years to the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava, first initiated in 1967 during the Czechoslovakia era. Its last event in 2013 brought together 362 artists from 49 countries, with over 2300 works on display. This exhibition features award winning works from this festival as well as contributions from Japan based illustrators.
