Motoo Kaneshige
Motoo Kaneshige was born as the 4th son of the renowned ceramist Toyo Kaneshige, in the bizen region of Okayama. After graduating from Musashino Art University and spending time working for a company, he began his ceramic career in 2002, specializing not in bizen ware of his hometown but with the local ware of Mie, Iga ware. Here he presents a selection of 50 vases, sake flasks and table ware.
