Continuing the tradition of Wajima lacquer whilst carrying lacquer work to new heights, Junichi Hakose has earnt wide respect and collaborated with a number of international jewelry brands. Here he presents over 600 pieces centering around the technique of inlaid lacquer, continuing to push into territory yet to be trodden and who over 40 years has learnt the importance of resisting mere simplicity.
