Jay Komuda is a Tokyo based artist passionate about the ordinary aspects of our lives and the habitat we create. In his works he explores the correlation between the urban environment and the people that populate it.
During the artist-in-residence at Youkobo Art Space he investigated outskirts of Japan’s capital. 6 months. 1000 kilometres. His book, “No Purpose” has been published in 2015. No Purpose Vol. 2 has been supported by Instytut Polski w Tokio.
