U29 presents young artists to watch now, selected by fellow artists, art researchers, collectors, and gallerists. For consideration, artists needed to meet the following criteria: 1) They must be 29 years old or younger, 2) they must mainly work in 2D art, and 3) they must not yet be affiliated with a commercial gallery (as of March 31, 2016). This exhibition is an opportunity for up-and-coming creators to demonstrate their talent and the potential of visual arts, and for art viewers and collectors to encounter an array of cutting-edge works in one place.
