Artists

Yoko Yamamoto
The work of printmaker Yoko Yamamoto is renowned for its free form, delicate line and soft colors. Since the beginning of her career she determined not to make an undersketch, placing emphasis on the direct image that arose from her mind. With the determination to bring color into people’s lives and make some way towards the alleviation of pain in recent years she has worked on murals in hospitals and considered the healing power of art. This exhibition focuses on the original illustrations for the hospital wall paintings and stained glass creations while also showcasing works for various magazines and productions from her time in Paris.
