Shigeki Hayashi draws upon traditional methods of porcelain making but twists these towards unique forms which have earnt him acclaim not only in Japn but overseas as well. Here he presents a selection of new work of “deva devices” which challenge the stereotypes of ceramics and sculpture and lift them to a new stage.
