Kentaro Otawara
Kentaro Otawara is an artist active both in Japan and overseas. He has produced CD artwork and original music goods, has held live painting events, and has worked in product design. This exhibition will showcase new paintings, drawings and sculptural works by Otawara. It will also present “Momotaro” and “Urashima Taro,” two picture books he drew for POO POO BOOKS, a publisher working on a series of classic picture books under the concept “More Pop Art for All Children!.” “Momotaro,” the first picture book Otawara worked on, was sold out at his last solo exhibition, and “Urashima Taro” is his latest work, going on sale as of December 24. In addition, original goods such as t-shirts will be available. A workshop event is scheduled for the weekend.
