Finished

Artists

Mei Suzuki, Mirei Sumiyoshi
A fathom is a unit of length originally defined by a man’s wingspan (six feet). It can also be used as a verb to mean “measure,” “estimate,” or “comprehend.” Artists Mei Suzuki and Mirei Sumiyoshi use their bodies to grapple with psychological distances between people, unseen relationships, and the depths within themselves in their work.
