Yoshimi Mishima, Kazuki Watanabe, Miho Tanabe et al.
Five years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, yet there are still people who cannot move forward with their lives. The Sen Nin Butsu Project involves artists from across the country, who visit people whose lives are in limbo to aid in their emotional recoveries through art as a form of communication. This exhibition presents works by Sen Nin Butsu Project artists. These painters, sculptors, illustrators, photographers, and other artists who have witnessed the realities of temporary housing residents and others impacted by the disasters offer their own unique perspectives.
