2016 marks the 150 anniversary since the passing of German physician and botanist, Philipp Franz Balthasar von Siebold(1796-1866). To celebrate the museum presents the studies and specimens collected by Siebold and his associates in his contribution towards the international recognition of the natural richness of Japan.
