Presenting a Tokyo version of the exhibition “Kikuya” held May 20th through June 12th, 2016 in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, where Masaki Yamashita’s studio is located. Music is by 7FO, who thought that his own sound would fit well with “Oil Human” after seeing the show in Osaka in 2015. In addition to the “Oil Human” oil paintings on roughly carved cypress wood, ceramics making their debut at this Tokyo exhibition and new paintings are on display. Come experience the reverberations between Masaki Yamashita’s installations and 7FO’s sounds.
