Aya Saito
Aya Saito (b.1981 in Tokyo) graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, receiving the Yoshitomo Nara Prize at the Geisai 5 competition in 2004 and the Foil Award Grand Prize for her first book “Darumasan ga koronda” (published by Little More) in 2005. Even with her serious art education she remains true to her own style of painting, expressed directly on paper. Her originality is enhanced by her choices in the paper and oil paint she uses for her works. Around 25 works selected by the gallery and large paper paintings are displayed.
