Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB), an event hosted every two years in the capital of Slovakia, is the biggest celebration of the world’s top children’s book illustrators. This exhibition in Japan is hosted to mark the fiftieth anniversary of this prestigious event. In addition to looking back at the history of Japanese picture books from the last half century, this show will introduce works by award winners at the 25th edition of BIB in 2015.
