Kiyoko Sakata “Assemblages with indefinite roles”

Galerie Paris
Finished

Artists

Kiyoko Sakata
Kiyoko Sakata has been producing what she refers to as “assemblages with indefinite roles” since 2011. She is strongly aware of the uncertainty of the position that she herself inhabits in the world, and from this perspective looks to confirm her existence and share the pain of it by manifesting the subject in her works. For this exhibition, Sakata will reconstruct the work “Yuki Kayou Boat,” initially produced in Yokohama in 2016.
