Satoru Murakami
After studying copperplate printing at university, Satoru Murakami began to work with oilbar. His paintings and illustrations are characterized by scenes of anthropomorphic animals leading human-like lives. The animals appear cute at first, but there is a strong sense of reality in what Murakami depicts. This exhibition offers a chance to encounter his adult fairy tale-like world.
