Denmark is a small Scandinavian country that is home to around 5.6 million people. It regularly comes out top in the United Nations’ World Happiness Report and is well known for its sophisticated social welfare system and proactive introduction of natural renewable energy. Denmark is also recognized as a design powerhouse that has produced excellent designers and architects such as Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Finn Juhl. Supported by Design Museum Denmark (Designmuseum Danmark), this exhibition presents Danish furniture and tableware from the mid-20th century, the golden era of Danish design, introducing around 190 items.

Workshop: Lego Block Little Mermaid
The bronze “Little Mermaid” statue in Copenhagen is one of the city landmarks. At this event you will have a chance to build a replica from Lego, the world-famous product that was invented in Denmark. The workshop will be led by Lego Certified Professional and pro-builder Jumpei Mitsui.
