Yusei Nagashima
Yusei Nagashima grew up watching fish and being fascinated by them, so it’s natural that he became a “gyofu gaka” - an artist who specializes in painting fish. “I want to vividly portray the individuality of each fish species that I love,” he says, “it’s the motivation for my creation.” Titled “uonofu,” which refers to artistic sketches of ichthyology, his forth exhibition focuses on this fundamental enthusiasm.
