Chinatsu Higashi
Solo exhibition by illustrator Chinatsu Higashi. In Kanazawa, where the artist is from, “kinkato” decorative sugar candies are considered an indispensable part of Hinamatsuri Doll Festival celebrations. In this exhibition, Higashi will create a new world that combines paintings and sculptural works on the theme of these sugar candies that were so familiar in her childhood. Brand new works the artist began working on last year will be showcased at this event that celebrates the happiness of adult women as well as children.
