This exhibition investigates the contrast between the transience of human life and that which exceeds human knowledge. From the time of birth, human life is circumscribed by transience. It can also be said, however, that it is this transience that inspires us to live. The symbol of transience can therefore be taken as a symbol for the power to live. Explore this proposition through the works of Toru Kamei.
