Kazuhiko Hukuooji
This exhibition showcasing new work by Kazuhiko Hukuooji, a master of contemporary nihonga and member of the Japan Art Institute, commemorates the 40th anniversary of Tobu Funabashi store. Taking the moon, people and cattle as his main motifs, Hukuooji depicts fantastic landscapes using beautiful blue and gold hues. This exhibition will present ten new artworks illustrating recognizably Japanese scenes that feature five-storied pagodas and arched bridges.
