This exhibition on the theme of “tension and completion” will present work by Morio Shinoda, who produces sculptures like refined machines, and Maywa Denki, a fictional company and art project that develops numerous nonsensical machines and presents the fruits of these labors in performances for the general public. Nobumichi Tosa, President of Maywa Denki, discovered his love of metal sculpture and machine technology while at university studying under Shinoda. New works by both artists will be presented here.
