Presenting masks and costumes of Noh theater from the Kongo School Family collection from Kyoto, with many pieces shown in Tokyo for the first time. Exhibits include masks admired by shogun Hideyoshi Toyotomi, the child’s mask “Hana no Ko-omote” (an Important Cultural Property), and other items epitomizing the profound elegance of the Kongo School of Noh.
