Image Forum Festival screens films, video art, and personal diary-like works on a theater screen. Presenting the latest outstanding films from Japan and abroad, the festival also features conversations and lectures by video artists and curators with the aim of creating opportunities for more people to familiarize themselves with film. The theme of this year’s festival is “voices.” Spotlighting diverse individual voices, it presents these artistic expressions as testaments to their existences.
