“Konbanwa” (Good Evening) is a 2003 documentary filmed at a night school in Sumida Ward for the research project ＃シネマコンプレックス文花 (#CinemaComplexCulture), which for the past 15 years has taken a multi-faceted approach to documenting changes in the school and neighborhood. In addition to a screening of the film, there will be an “arts festival” of works by artists involved with studios and galleries in the area and a traveling exhibition at the art space in front of the school.
