Kazuhiro Imai
Since the early 1980s, Kazuhiro Imai has produced numerous artwork that has featured in the hardcore and punk scenes both in Japan and overseas. His art has played an important role as the “face” of different bands, expressing their philosophy in a direct and powerful way alongside the music. Having played in bands himself as of the 1980s, Imai’s approach and way of life is informed by both art and music.
In this exhibition you can see original artwork made for flyers, album jackets and t-shirts, while merchandise such as limited edition silk screen posters and t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
