“Do We Dream Under the Same Sky” is a series of performances and installations by Rirkrit Tiravanija and Tomas Vu. This exhibition is a performance of live silkscreen printing of not only text but portraits of musicians, filmmakers, artists, politicians, etc. This exhibition is part of a 10-year large-scale art performance and installation that has been going since 2013 in various cities around the world including New York, Detroit, Bogota, and Madrid.
Opening/Performance and Custom Made T-Shirts
Date and Time: 6/9 (Sat), 6/10 (Sun)
Rirkrit Tiravanija will be live-printing and taking orders for custom-made T-shirts. T-shirts and art made over the two days will then be exhibited and sold.
For the custom made T-shirts silkscreened by the artist on the premise, customers will be able to choose a portrait and text and the color of the T-shirt and ink. (The T-shirts require one to two days to dry and will be available for pickup a following day.)
