Gallery Momo Ryogoku presents an exhibition for the publication of Kotori Kawashima’s new photobook “Tsuki no Hikari Ai no Kizashi” (Catch the Moon Fade Into You). Signed special editions will be sold on October 20. Kawashima, winner of the prestigious Kimura Ihei Prize, is known for expressive candid portraits in series such as “Mirai-chan” (2011) and “Morning Star” (2014). In recent years he has taken an interest in capturing moments when his subjects seem to be no longer quite children but not fully adults yet, either. “Catch the Moon Fade Into You” is a collection of images from travels with the actress Machiko Ono in Taiwan and Nara.
